Rhino joins Tinder to find mate

Sudan is world's last male white northern rhino

NAIROBI, Kenya – There's an unusual addition to the online dating world that's aimed at keeping an endangered animal from going extinct.

A group of conservationists in Kenya are using Tinder to find the world's last male white rhino, Sudan, a mate.

Wildlife workers are using the app to help raise $9 million for a fertility treatment for Sudan and the last two female white rhinos.

The campaign is called "The Most Eligible Bachelor in the World."

According to Sudan's profile, he loves the outdoors and traveling. He stands about 6 feet tall and weighs more than 5,000 pounds.

A swipe right for Sudan will redirect users to a fundraising page where a donation can be made.
