DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – A 26-year-old man was shot and killed late Tuesday in Daytona Beach, police said.
The fatal shooting was reported on Shady Place near Nova Road and U.S. 1, not far from the Daytona Beach Golf Club.
Daytona Beach police said Willie Bailey and another man were sitting in a car when two unknown men wearing dark clothing opened the driver-side door, made a statement and shot Bailey.
Bailey lost consciousness and was taken to Halifax Medical Center, where he died, police said.
The gunmen ran away after the shooting, police said.
No other injuries were reported.
