DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Daytona Beach police are asking for help finding a man who they say broke into a convenience store with a sledge hammer.
Investigators say the burglary happened at the Citgo on Mason Avenue early Sunday morning. Police say the burglar tried to hammer his way through the walls and eventually removed a metal bar from a window and forced his way in.
