SANFORD, Fla. – Sanford Police confirm to Local 6 they have reopened the investigation into the death of a 2-month-old baby after his mother was charged following the death of a second child.

Rachel Fryer, 32, is in the Seminole County jail charged with child neglect after the death of her 2-year-old daughter Tariji. Fryer says she found the girl unresponsive and couldn't revive her. She allegedly admitted to police she then put the girl's body in a suitcase and drove to Putnam County before burying the girl's remains in a shallow grave.

Back in 2011, Tariji's twin brother was also found dead under Fryer's care. At the time, the death was ruled accidental suffocation after Fryer told investigators she fell asleep with the boy on the couch. Police though now say they want to take a second look at that case.

The Florida Department of Children and Families is also involved in the investigation. Fryer's bail is set at $950,000.
