Winter Haven man with autism reported missing, police say

POLK COUNTY, Fla. – Winter Haven police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing endangered 44-year-old man last seen on Saturday.

Police said Eric Christopher Riner has autism, developmental disabilities and a seizure disorder and they hope to find him quickly.

His family told police he enjoys hanging out near fast food restaurants and gas stations.

Riner was last seen near Winter Haven Hospital around 6:50 p.m. Saturday where he reportedly called someone to pick him up on the property.

Anyone who has seen Riner is asked to call 911 immediately.
