Police identify man, 20, who died after jumping in lake near Tinker Field Case is still under investigation

ORLANDO, Fla. – The 20-year-old man who died after jumping in a lake about 3,000 feet south of Tinker Field on Saturday has been identified by the Orlando Police Department.
Investigators said witnesses called police after they lost sight of Joshua Charo when he jumped into a lake and swam toward the middle of it at George Barker Park.

Police said the Orange County Dive Team was able to locate the body of Charo on Sunday.
The incident happened the same weekend as the Electric Daisy Carnival in Orlando. Thousands attended the festival each day.
Officers have not yet been able to determine if Charo attended the music festival.
An investigation is ongoing.
