Man dies after motorcycle crash in Osceola County, FHP says

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – A 20-year-old motorcyclist died Wednesday night after he was involved in an Osceola County crash, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said the wreck between the motorcycle and van occurred at 7:40 p.m. on Osceola Parkway and Buenaventura Boulevard.

A van, driven by a 58-year-old man from Kissimmee, was traveling east and exiting the Town and Country Mall parking lot at the same time a motorcyclist was traveling north on Buenaventura Boulevard, a crash report shows.

According to FHP, the van drove into the path of the motorcycle, striking the right side.

The Orlando man was transported to a Kissimmee hospital, where he later died of his injuries. No other injuries were reported, troopers said.

No other information is available at this time.

This crash remains under investigation.
