1 injured in stabbing in Daytona Beach, police say

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – A person was stabbed and injured Sunday night in Daytona Beach, police said.

Police said they responded to Bethune-Cookman University around 10 p.m., but later added that the stabbing did not happen on campus.

The victim was taken to Halifax Health Medical Center as a trauma alert patient.
