1 dead, 2 injured in Osceola County crash, troopers say

2-vehicle crash occurred at Orange Blossom Trail, Polk Line Road intersection

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – A woman died and two other people were injured in an Osceola County crash Tuesday afternoon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said the two-vehicle wreck occurred just before 1 p.m. on Orange Blossom Trail and Polk Line Road.

According to a crash report, a Mitsubishi Mirage carrying three people from the United Kingdom attempted to make a left turn onto Osceola Polk Line Road and was in the path of a pickup traveling south on OBT.

The passenger of the Mitsubishi, a 47-year-old woman, was taken to Osceola Regional Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The driver, a 53-year-old man, and another passenger, a 13-year-old boy, both had minor injuries in the crash.

The three people in the pickup truck were uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
