Daytona Beach police locate missing 13-year-old girl Jekeisha Symond found safe

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Daytona Beach Police Department said Sunday a 13-year-old girl missing since Saturday evening was found safe.
Police were looking for Jakeisha Symond, who had previously last been seen around 5:30 p.m. Saturday along the 700 block of Heineman Street.

In an update on Twitter, police thanked those who helped in the search and shared their initial post.
