Orlando groups offer wellness activities for Pulse Remembrance Week

Free wellness events to support mental health

ORLANDO, Fla. – In the month of June, several Central Florida businesses and groups will be offering free wellness events to support mental health with community-wide activities.

On Friday, June 10, New Moon Yoga will hold a restorative yoga event at The LGBT+ Center, 946 North Mills Ave., at 6 p.m.

Rock Hard Fitness Orlando on Lake Baldwin Lane will be hosting a Community Day on Sunday.

The organizers will be hosting a safe space for crossfitters.

No membership is needed and all group lifting classes are free and open to everyone. More information is available on the Rock Hard Fitness Facebook page.

On June 18 at 5 p.m., Impulse Group Orlando will host a “Keep Healing” event at the Ace Cafe in downtown Orlando. Their goal is to provide a safe and relaxing space with free massages, meditation/yoga sessions, drag shows, counseling, and art therapy. This event is also free to the public. More information is on the group’s Facebook page.

For Central Florida services all year round, The Zebra Coalition, The Center Orlando, and 26Health offer free mental health counseling and support for LGBTQ+ people (including youth).
