A 42-year-old Port Orange man driving a pickup truck was traveling south in the outside lane of S. Williamson Boulevard, approaching Beville Road at the same time a 26-year-old Michigan man driving a Jeep was traveling north in the outside turn lane on that same road, according to a crash report.

The Jeep driver began to turn west onto Beville Road as the pickup truck driver failed to stop for a red light and proceeded south into the path of the Jeep, the report shows.

Investigators said the truck and Jeep collided, causing both of them to roll, injuring all occupants of both vehicles.

Multiple patients had to be extricated from the Jeep, authorities said.

A previous statement provided to News 6 by the Daytona Beach Police Department said the crash is being investigated as a hit-and-run, but a Florida traffic crash report issued suggests the crash is not being investigated as a hit-and-run.

No other details were shared.
