Investigators said they were contacted by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office on Aug. 9 about the sexual battery of a child 10 to 12 years prior.

Detectives said they made contact with the victim who said he was about 10 years old at the time of the attack. The victim said Walker took him for a drive and brought him into the woods where he was raped, according to a news release.

Deputies said they questioned Walker who admitted to touching the victim and showing him pornography, though the man denied the rape.

Walker faces a charge of sexual battery on a victim younger than 12.

Investigators believe there may be more victims out there. If you or someone you know is a victim, you are asked to call the sheriff’s office at 352-368-3539.
