Savannah Bananas coming to Daytona Beach for 2 games in February

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Banana Ball is coming to Central Florida in 2023.

The Savannah Bananas, known for their viral TikToks showcasing the new style of baseball called Banana Ball, will be playing two games in Daytona Beach in February.

On Feb. 22 and 23, you can head to Volusia County to be a part of the Bananas 2023 World Tour, which spans from February through September.

The Jackie Robinson Ballpark will again play host to the Bananas who say it puts on “The Greatest Show in Baseball.”

If you aren’t aware of Banana Ball played by the Savannah Bananas, it’s a baseball game that can be described as players serving as characters, dancers and performers to bring the game to life with new rules.

Banana Ball is meant to be fast-paced as its rules include no bunting, no walks, a two-hour time limit, batters stealing first base, a two-hour time limit and a one-on-one showdown at the end of the game if things end in a tie.

ESPN has a docuseries called “Bananaland” that covers the growth of Banana Ball if you’d like to learn more.

While the dates of the tour have been announced, Information about tickets has not been released yet.

Feb. 17-18, in West Palm Beach

Mar. 4, in Jacksonville

Apr. 29, in Tampa
