Crews battle brush fire in Brevard County

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – Crews are working to to stop a brush fire from threatening buildings in Port St. John.

The fire broke out Sunday west of Golfview Avenue at Port St. John Parkway.

Fire officials said crews will “mop up” hot spots Monday to ensure the blaze doesn’t burn out of control.

Officials have not said how many acres were burned by the fire.
