16-year-old girl missing out of Jacksonville located, authorities say

DUVAL COUNTY, Fla. – A Florida Missing Child alert was canceled Sunday after an endangered 16-year-old girl last seen in Jacksonville nearly six months ago was located, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

Jonae Seaborn went missing Jan. 28, last seen in the area of the 1370 block of Shearwater Drive, and was possibly in the company of 33-year-old Georges Jerome, according to FDLE. The two may be traveling in a red SUV, officials said.

The circumstances surrounding her disappearance continue to be investigated, Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.
