Duplex fire spreads to strip mall in Cape Canaveral No one was injured in fire

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – Crews in Cape Canaveral are still working to determine the cause of a fire over the weekend that damaged a duplex and a strip mall.
The fire started in a duplex at the corner of Madison Avenue and North Atlantic Avenue, according to Canaveral Fire Rescue, and spread to the two-story strip mall facing Atlantic Avenue.
Video from the scene shows flames shooting from the top of the strip mall building.
Several families were evacuated from the duplex but no one was hurt.
No word on how badly the buildings were damaged.
