Winter Park holds meeting on coyotes after reports of sightings, missing pets

WINTER PARK, Fla. – Coyote safety is the focus of a Thursday night meeting in Winter Park.

The community meeting, held by city and Orange County leaders, comes after recent coyote sightings and reports of missing pets.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and Orange County Animal Services will also be present at the meeting, providing safety information.

The meeting starts at 6 p.m. at the Winter Park Community Center.
