ORLANDO, Fla. – A plea hearing for an Orange County woman accused of helping run a multimillion-dollar immigration scam was scheduled in error.

According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, Juliana Colucci, her husband, and two associates posed as lawyers at Legacy Imigra and promised to help people living in the country illegally. Instead, investigators said the group defrauded clients out of thousands of dollars.

Investigators describe the operation as a $20 million scam that targeted undocumented immigrants who were seeking legal assistance. Legacy Imigra has since been shut down.
