Pulse survivor moderates memorial panel on gun safety and LGBTQ+ rights

49 bell tolls ring throughout Orlando, 4 years after Pulse nightclub attack

ORLANDO, Fla. – Saturday, Pulse survivor Brandon Wolf will moderate a panel discussion on the successes and challenges the LGBTQ+ and gun safety movements have faced since the Pulse nightclub shooting.

The panel helps mark 10-years since the attack, in which a gunman killed 49 people and injured 53 others at the Orlando nightclub.

Wolf will be joined by representatives from the Human Rights Campaign, Equality Florida and GIFFORDS, the national gun violence prevention group, along with Sen. Carlos Guillermo Smith, D-Orlando.

The conversation will focus on both the successes and challenges since Pulse, and building on the progress made in the decade ahead.
