ORLANDO, Fla. – Charges have been dropped against the teenager accused in a deadly 2023 shooting outside Orlando’s Dezerland Park, court documents show.
Jasper Rollins II had been charged as an adult with second-degree murder and two counts of aggravated battery in connection with the shooting outside Dezerland Park on International Drive. The Orange-Osceola County State Attorney’s Office dropped those charges, though court documents do not explain why.
The November 2023 shooting happened around 11:45 a.m. as officers were already on scene monitoring a “large group of juveniles” on the property. As the group left, a shooter fired several rounds into the crowd, according to police
Trevon Robinson, 14, of Hillsborough County, was killed. Two other teens were injured, one critically.
