ORLANDO, Fla. – A 41-year-old man is facing an indecent exposure charge after police say he exposed himself to a woman inside a parking garage near downtown Orlando, marking what investigators say is his seventh arrest for a similar offense.
According to the University of Central Florida Police Department, officers responded to the Union West parking garage in Orlando’s Creative Village shortly before 1:30 a.m. Saturday after receiving a report of an indecent exposure.
Police said they found Christopher McCall actively exposing himself near the victim’s vehicle when they arrived and took him into custody.
Investigators said the woman told officers she drove her vehicle to a different level of the parking garage in an attempt to get away, but McCall allegedly followed her.
McCall was booked into the Orange County Jail, where he remains held without bond.
According to court records and UCF police, McCall has six previous arrests for indecent exposure dating back to 2015.
News 6 reviewed court records that show McCall was first arrested on an indecent exposure charge in Broward County in 2015. He was arrested three more times in Broward County in 2017 — in April, August and September — on similar charges.
Court records show McCall was arrested again in Broward County in June 2024 after officers said he exposed himself in a parking lot near several homes. He was later convicted and sentenced to two years in prison.
Authorities said just two days after his release from prison in March, McCall was arrested again, this time in Orange County. Deputies alleged he exposed himself inside the lobby of a McDonald’s along Silver Star Road on March 6. Investigators said a nearby apartment manager also recorded video of the incident.
Attorney Raymond Traendly, managing partner of TK Law, said repeated arrests for the same alleged behavior over a short period can indicate a deeper issue.
“Anytime we see a case where there’s repeated instances in a short period of time, it’s usually a big red flag that there is something else going on — an underlying issue,” Traendly said.
Traendly also said the location of the latest arrest is concerning because of its proximity to a college campus.
“Orlando has a lot of students, 100,000 students in the Orlando area, and so the fact that this person is maybe targeting students, I think needs to be a concern as well,” he said.
Traendly said McCall’s criminal history and the timing of the latest arrest could result in another prison sentence if he is convicted.
Court records also show McCall’s bond from his March arrest has been revoked. He remains in the Orange County Jail without bond as the latest case moves through the court system.
