WINTER GARDEN, Fla. – If you're looking for a new home for you and 999 of your closest, ghost, ghoul and goblin friends, then a house outside of Atlanta may be just what you are looking for.
Winter Garden company Theme Park Connection is listing a 10,000 square foot home, themed entirely around Disney's Haunted Mansion.
The home's owner, Mark Hurt, is a Disney contractor. He built the seven bedroom, six bathroom home in 1996 and has lived there with his family ever since. The outside of the house is an exact replica of the original attraction.
"When you go inside, it's a different story because you have to live in it," said Marc Pianko, owner of Theme Park Connection. "Of course, there's no 'doom buggies,' inside, but I would love that."
The iron work on the home's porch was crafted from the same foundries Walt Disney selected on the original mansion. And one of the bathrooms, is a bit more "spirited" than the others.
"And then you turn on the cold water, and a hitchhiking ghost appears in the mirror. Literally, it's a scene where the lights start to flicker, the sound comes on and there's a ghost in the mirror," said Pianko.
