Orlando police looking for man who robbed 7-Eleven

Police say case likely related to other robberies

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando police said they are looking for a man believed to be involved in several armed robberies in Orange County.

Police said they are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the 7-Eleven at 5695 LB McLeod Road.

Around 5 a.m. Sunday,  a man entered the store with his face covered and pointed a firearm at the clerk, according to police.

The man was last seen fleeing northbound from the business on foot.

It is believed that this case is related to several similar incidents in Orange County, including a carjacking, police said.

Authorities said the incidents began Friday night on Pine Hills Road.

Investigators said the suspect carjacked a woman and then dropped her off at Ocoee High School.

Ocoee police said the same man was responsible for a break in at the Best Buy at West Oaks Mall on Colonial.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office believes the same man then held up the 7-Eleven at the intersection of Curry Ford Road and Goldenrod Road.

Surveillance video at the 7-Eleven captured the suspect. He was wearing a red and grey ball cap and a white T-shirt over his face.

Deputies are searching for a 2008 Chevy Impala with Florida license plate 156-KRE and a front vanity plate that says Brooklyn.
