ORLANDO, Fla. – Orange County deputies are searching for the person who shot a man in the parking lot of a convenience store.
The shooting happened at 8:45 p.m. at the Quick Stop on North Hiawassee Road, just south of Silver Star Road.
Deputies say passengers in two vehicles got into an argument in the parking lot. During the argument, a passenger in one of the cars pulled out a gun and fired at the other car, hitting a man inside. Both vehicles fled the scene immediately after the shooting, according to deputies.
The victim's friend called 911 from a different location. The victim was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center where he is listed in critical condition.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
