POINCIANA, Fla. – A cat stuck in a tree? Sure. But an iguana?

Polk County firefighters were called to a home in Poinciana earlier this month to rescue a pet iguana that was stuck at the top of a large tree.

"We serve the people of Polk County in many ways," firefighters posted on their Facebook page. "The Ladder 671 crew rescued a pet iguana from a tree in Poinciana. In the picture you will see firefighter Justin Mazzotta grabbing the pet and bringing it to safety."

Lt. Scott Huff and driver engineer Matt Sleik assisted from the ground.

It's not known if it was the crew's first iguana rescue.
