After a scoreless first half, the Pride got on the board thanks to a ball that deflected off a Houston player and into the goal. Minutes later, Lianne Sanderson blasted a free kick for a goal to give the Pride a 2-0 lead.

Star forward Alex Morgan iced the game with her first goal as a member of the Pride just moments later.

The Pride, which improved to 1-1, are on the road next. They visit Chicago on May 1.
