ORLANDO, Fla. – Just a day after signing former Utah Jazz point guard Shelvin Mack, president Jeff Weltman and the Orlando Magic have waived C.J. Watson.
The former Magic guard was first signed by the Magic in July, 2015, appearing in 95 games for Orlando.

Averaging 4.5 points, 2.1 assists, 1.6 rebounds and 17.6 minutes per game during his time with the Magic, Watson made nine starts in 2016.
Undrafted by an NBA team, Watson has played in 600 regular season games, averaging 7.2 points, 2.5 assists, 1.9 rebounds and 20.1 minutes per game.
He's played with Golden State, Chicago, Brooklyn, Indiana and Orlando, making 104 starts.
