EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival Begins July 27 (Walt Disney World)

BAY LAKE, Fla. – The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will return to Walt Disney World beginning July 27.

On its blog Wednesday, Disney said the popular festival will return with exciting new food and drink options, event merchandise, family activities and the Eat to the Beat Concert Series.

Disney says there will be more than 25 Global Marketplaces spread out across the theme park with returning favorites that include The Fry Basket, Flavors from Fire, Canada, India and Spain. Disney also said it’s bringing in some new global marketplaces for guests to enjoy.

For the foodies heading to the festival, Disney is bringing back the popular Emile’s Fromage Montage. Guests can grab a Festival Passport and purchase any five cheese dishes listed in the back of the Festival Passport to collect a stamp. Once five stamps are collected, guests can head to the Shimmering Sips Global Marketplace to redeem a sweet treat.

Disney says it’s also bringing back the Eat to the Beat Concert Series, featuring well-known musical acts and local bands. The free concerts happen at the America Gardens Theatre. More details, including the concert lineup, will be announced at a later date.

Remy’s Ratatouille Hide and Squeak is also coming back. Families can purchase a map and take part in a scavenger hunt to find hidden Remys around the park. Those who find all the statuettes and return the map will get a surprise. During the Halloween season, from Sept. 29 through Oct. 31, the park will bring back the Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit scavenger hunt.

More details about the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will be released in the future.

The festival will run through Nov. 18.
