ORLANDO, Fla. — Firefighters are battling a big house fire in Orlando. The fire started around 5:15 p.m. in the 1400 block of Arthur Street. A young rower who was hospitalized and placed on life support after a deadly lightning strike during practice on Lake Fairview earlier this month has passed away.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. The Orlando Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting in Lake Fairview. Police said officers were called to the 1700 block of Fairview Shoes Drive around 7 p.m. on Wednesday. Authorities said the victim was transported to the Orlando Regional Medical Center. The name of the victim has not been released at this time. This is a developing story we will update this story as more information becomes available.
