SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – A 19-year-old Sanford woman died Saturday night following a crash that involved two other vehicles, one of them a semitruck, on Interstate 4 in Seminole County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Around 10:15 p.m., troopers said the woman was driving eastbound in the inside lane near mile marker 94 (State Road 434) when she attempted to change lanes to the right, striking the left side of a semitruck in the center lane. The woman’s car then struck a sedan that was traveling behind it, according to a crash report.

The woman was taken to a hospital where she later died, troopers said. The two other drivers involved — a 45-year-old man in the semitruck and a 28-year-old man in the sedan, both of Orlando — were not injured in the crash, troopers said.

The fatal crash is still being investigated.
