Stalled front keeping Central Florida wet

Highs in Orlando to be near 90 degrees

ORLANDO, Fla. – A stalled front that has been keeping Central Florida wet and unsettled over the last week will continue to do so for most of the weekend.

"Expect a repeat story of yesterday, with a dry morning followed by another stormy afternoon," Local 6 meteorologist Candace Campos said.  "Storms will again move in around lunchtime for the inland neighborhoods, then track into the East Coast beaches through about 8 p.m."

Rain-cooled air will keep highs in the mid- to upper 80s, with more of the same for Sunday, Campos said. The average high in Orlando is 92 degrees.

"If you are heading to the Orlando City game Saturday night, bring the purple ponchos as rain chances will remain high, especially during the tailgating hours," Campos said.

Have a great weekend!
