"Now that a front has passed through Central Florida, we have a cool start to the morning," News 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said. "Morning lows are in the 40s, 50s and 60s across Central Florida."

The high in Orlando on Tuesday will reach 76 degrees. The average afternoon high on this date is 79.

High temperatures will be in the upper 70s from Wednesday through the weekend.

Overnight lows will be in the mid-50s in the Orlando area.

"We will have sunshine and dry air as high pressure dominates," Bridges said. "The rest of the week will have spectacular outdoor weather."

Tracking the tropics

An area of low pressure is very unorganized near the Yucatán Peninsula, but it has a 80 percent chance of development over the next five days.

"It is drifting north or possibly northeast in the coming days," Bridges said. "We will watch the system, although it is not likely to impact Florida.

The hurricane season for the Atlantic basin runs through November.
