Central Florida chill over for now. Temps warming back up just in time for new workweek.

Marion County reaching near 80s on Sunday

ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida will continue warming up throughout the weekend, as well as into the upcoming week.

Marion County temperatures will reach up to around the 80s Sunday, with the rest of central Florida staying in the mid- to high 70s.

Orlando will reach a high of 76 with a 20 percent coverage of rain.

"If we get any rain it will be very short-lived -- light showers mainly staying on the coast," said News 6 meteorologist Madeline Evans.

Sunday will be much like Saturday with some periods of heavier cloud cover and some periods of sunshine.

It will still feel a bit breezy, with winds coming from the east at 5 to 15 mph.

Tonight, central Florida will reach a low of 63 under a mostly cloudy sky.

Fog will build early Monday morning and then burn off, leaving a high of 83 degrees and a slight chance of rain once again.
