High temperatures expected to be near records before cold front arrives Sunday

Saturday is anticipated to be warm and humid

ORLANDO, Fla. – Happy Saturday! Expect another warm and muggy day on tap.

Daytime highs are expected to climb into the middle 80s once again across the area. A few spotty showers are possible Saturday afternoon.

Saturday highs

A potent cold front will move through early Sunday morning bringing scattered rain with a few downpours. An isolated thunderstorm or two are possible but the severe weather threat is very low.

As that front moves through, winds are expected to pick up out of the west between 15-20 mph with potential wind gusts up to 30 mph.

Cold front

Colder and less-humid air will begin to slowly filter in Sunday evening. Wake-up temperatures on Monday will be in the 40s with daytime highs in the lower 60s.
