"We will stay cloudy all day and could see some early morning showers through 9 a.m.," News 6 meteorologist Madeline Evans said. "Things should clear up for the afternoon."

There is a chance of an isolated thunderstorm by 6 p.m., mainly for southern Brevard.

"It's not the best day for the beach," Evans said. "Daytona Beach will reach a high of 88, with the water temperature at 80 degrees. There is only a slight rip current risk."
