ORLANDO, Fla. – Frosty temperatures greeted Central Floridians early Thursday as temperatures plummeted into the 30s and 40s for the second straight morning.
"An area of high pressure has moved directly on top of Central Florida, weakening our winds," News 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said. "Without the wind, we will see more of a chance for frost to develop, mainly in our northern zones, including Flagler, Marion, Lake and Sumter counties."
The high in Orlando will reach 66 degrees. Wednesday's high was 57. The average high on this date is 76.
Overnight lows will be in the low 50s.

Friday's high will reach 78.
There's no chance of rain on Thursday and Friday.

Afternoon highs will be in the 80s on Saturday and Sunday, with rain chances increasing to 50 percent both weekend days.
Hurricane season officially ends on Friday, and nothing is currently brewing in the tropics.
