ORLANDO, Fla. – The hurricane is gone, but so is your electricity, and you don’t really want to cook.
The good news (and a good sign for the community) is that several popular restaurants will be back open for people looking to take a break from being stuck in their homes.

These restaurants announced on social media accounts that they were reopening Thursday. Be prepared, though; they may not be able to accommodate a full menu. And pack your patience.

Gators Dockside locations are open in:

- Lake Mary

- Waterford Lakes
- Windermere
Sonny’s BBQ has dozens of restaurants in Florida. Some, but not all are opening Thursday, according to their website.
