MALABAR, Fla. – A 44-year-old man walking along a Brevard County road was struck and killed Sunday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The FHP said Rudolph Muller, of Malabar, died in the crash, which occurred around 9:40 p.m. on Weber Road in Malabar.

Troopers said a 19-year-old driving a 2006 Volkswagen Beetle was headed southbound when he struck Muller, who was walking in the southbound lanes of Weber Road near Hall Road.
Muller was pronounced dead at the scene, troopers said. The driver was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
