Orlando police on Friday identified the man as Hector Yadier Jorge-Pabon.

Police said the shooting happened just after 3 p.m. Thursday on Raper Dairy Road at Blossom Corner Apartments.

Police said homicide detectives were working on leads in the case.

A man told Local 6 that his daughter got off of the bus and saw the victim being chased down, shot and killed. The gunmen ran off, he said.

"This neighborhood is usually quiet. I've been here for a year and nothing, nothing like this ever happens here, so it's really shocking as a parent to see your daughter going through something like this," said Angel Rodriguez, whose daughter witnessed the shooting.

It's not clear if the victim was targeted.

Initial reports from officers were that the person was shot in the face, but no other details were released.

No suspect description has been released.
