Dozens arrested in Orange County drug bust

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Orange County Sheriff's Office arrested dozens of suspects in a drug bust after a four-month long investigation.

"Operation Old Cheney" was conducted in the area of Old Cheney Highway and Semoran Boulevard, deputies said on Friday.

According to deputies, 58 warrants were served, 34 suspects were arrested and five additional suspects were arrested after the warrants were served in the investigation, which focused on the sale and delivery of prescription pills, heroin and other illegal drugs.

"Through our partnership with the DEA we were successful in dismantling a significant drug trafficking organization," Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings said in a news release.
