Thursday, a woman who survived the shooting, took the stand for the prosecution.

"I just heard a loud bang and hard pressure on the left side of my head.", said Brianna Campos.

Prosecutors say 23-year-old, her brother and Zaldivar were shot by Okafor, in order to keep them from testifying against him in a home invasion trial.

If convicted, Okafor could be sentenced to death.
