Deputies: 1 dead, 2 injured from gunshots outside local bar

Louis Cintron, 28, arrested, charged with murder

ORLANDO, Fla. – A man was arrested Sunday after three people were shot in the parking lot of a local bar, deputies said.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office said the shootings occurred at 12:41 a.m. Sunday in the parking lot of the Diamond Club at 527 N. Semoran Blvd. in Orlando.

Deputies said when they arrived they found one person dead. That person was identified Sunday night as Carlos Enrique Cruz, 35.

Two other victims, both men, were taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where they are listed as being in critical condition.

Deputies arrested Louis Cintron, 28, in connection with the shooting. He is charged with murder.

The initial investigation showed at least three motorcycle groups may have been involved in the fight and shooting, deputies said. 

Homicide detectives are on scene and the investigation is ongoing.
