Boy with autism elected prom king

Senior prom was held at Melbourne High School

MELBOURNE, Fla. – Students at Melbourne High School elected a 19-year-old boy with autism as king of as their senior prom.

"My stepson Matthew Greenhall is autistic. He decided to put his name on the ballot for prom court to save the money for the tickets and was chosen by the wonderful students of Melbourne High School, Douglas Beckett stepdad to Greenhall, said in an e-mail to News 6. "Matthew has been on cloud nine ever since."
