Deputies looking for two men in $1,900 Kohl's store heist in Flagler County

PALM COAST, Fla. – Two shoplifting incidents in one week have the Flagler County Sheriff's Office looking for the crooks.

"It's not helpful to the community, of course," said Laura Williams, a spokesperson for the Sheriff's Office.

The first incident happened Tuesday at a Kohl's Department store, and deputies were able to catch the four people involved. Investigators said two different men returned on Wednesday, however, to steal some more.

"Two white males came in and started unloading 25 pairs of jeans and 10 pairs of sneakers," said Williams.

The duo can be seen on video going to different parts of the store with the stolen merchandise in hand. Deputies said the men stole close to $2,000 worth of items before getting away.

"They apparently jumped into an older-model, gray Ford Explorer and got away," said Williams.

Now, investigators hope surveillance video and pictures will help them track down these thieves. Deputies believe the two incidents may be connected.

"Hopefully we'll be able to catch them soon and stop that from happening," said Williams.
