Man wanted in armed robberies at Metro PCS stores

Deputies seek Crimeline tips

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Deputies in Orange and Osceola counties are looking for an armed man they say robbed two Metro PCS stores.

The man pointed a gun at a cashier at Metro PCS on South Orange Blossom Trail in Orange County around 11:40 a.m. Sunday and demanded the contents from the cash register, according to a news release. He then forced her to a back room and where he emptied the safe before fleeing the store on foot, deputies said.

He was wearing a red and white striped collared shirt, tan cargo shorts, a yellow hat and gray sneakers. He's thought to be between 20 and 25 years old.

Deputies said there was an armed robbery at a Metro PCS in Osceola County on Tuesday and they believe the same man is responsible.

Anyone who knows the man's identity is asked to call Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS.
