2-year-old boy hit by car in parking lot

Jeremiah Grady taken to hospital with serious injuries

ORLANDO, Fla. – An Orlando toddler is recovering after being hit by a car in the parking lot of a Home Depot in Orange County. 

Troopers said Jeremiah Grady, 2, ran into the path of a car Wednesday evening at the Home Depot on West Colonial Drive near Hiawassee Road.

According to a crash report, the boy was walking with his mother when he saw someone he knew and darted into traffic. 

Jeremiah was taken to Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in serious condition. 

The driver involved in the crash remained at the scene. 

No other details have been released.
