2 dogs killed in Titusville house fire

No one injured in blaze on Highland Terrace

TITUSVILLE, Fla. – Two dogs were killed Tuesday morning in a Titusville house fire, officials said.

The blaze was reported about 9:10 a.m. at a home in the 500 block of Highland Terrace just north of South Street. Smoke was pouring from the home as firefighters arrived, Titusville Fire Battalion Chief Greg Sutton said.

No people were hurt, News 6 partner Florida Today reported.

Brevard County Fire Rescue assisted with the call.

The cause of the fire was not immediately available. The state fire marshal's office will investigate.
