Train hits car in railroad crossing in Maitland

As of 8:11 p.m. Tuesday, all trains back on schedule

MAITLAND, Fla. – SunRail officials said around 4:47 p.m. on Tuesday a northbound train crashed into a vehicle obstructing the railroad crossing at Horatio Avenue in Maitland.

There was 175 people on the train.

Officials said no one on the train was hurt.

Several trains were delayed during a three-hour period.

At 8:11 p.m. Tuesday, SunRail said all the trains were back on schedule.
