Computer issues impacting Frontier Airlines at Orlando International

Travelers should allow for extra time at check in

ORLANDO, Fla. – A Frontier Airlines computer system issue is creating delays Tuesday morning at Orlando International Airport, officials with the Greater Orlando Aviation Administration said.

The computer problems were specific to Orlando, Frontier spokesman Richard Oliver said. The outage affected the system used to check passengers in. Oliver said the airline was processing passenger check ins manually.

Travelers can also use the Frontier app to check in and proceed to their gates. Airport officials said passengers should factor in extra travel time if they are planning to check in at the airport.

More than a dozen Frontier flights were delayed as of 11:20 a.m., according to a FlightAware.com. Check the live arline flight tracker here.

Orlando International Airport tweeted at 11:30 a.m. that the issue had been resolved and Frontier employees were working to resume normal check-in operations.

Frontier was experiencing technical issues on Monday with its website, app, kiosks and call center. The system-wide issue was resolved Monday night, according to the airline.
